One day, Ms. EMSD’s father has to work overseas and thought hey, it’s about time his daughter has her own family one day. And as for our charming Mr. SSH himself, who is obviously well polished by his father, is ever ready to dedicate his life to the woman he loves and build a happy family of their own eventually. Mr. SSH proposed, and his sweetheart said yes. It was through the unconditional support and blessings of their fathers, who were also best friends, that this marriage is possible. This is definitely going to change Mr. SSH's life forever where beyond lies ahead a great commitment and future with Ms. EMSD. There could be no other better time than now!
As illustrated above, the father of ‘Mr. SSH’ is Mr. Lee Hwee Chuin and the Father of ‘Ms. EMSD’ is Dr. Oo Pou San. They have mutually agreed that this marriage is a great idea. After all, they only want to see their ‘children’ (us, TARC students) do well, and become their biggest achievements to truly represent the identity of all-rounded, extroverted and sociable beings.
Metaphors aside, yes you guessed it right, the Extra Mural Studies Department (EMSD) has proudly become the new addition to the School of Social Science of Humanities (SSH) happy family effective 1 Nov 2009, which now results in a brand new SSH and this makes SSH the biggest school in campus in terms of staff size.
Both SSH and EMSD in nature, are academically categorised in languages, social science, humanities and other development programs and it only makes better sense that it is high time to streamline the efforts of courses and programs offered under one roof – the SSH.
Thus SSH now has 2 additional divisions, The Division of Languages and The Division of Nation Building and Unity respectively, operating and blending well with the strong, loving and supportive ‘Mr.SSH’. As this only encourages SSH in delivering efficiency, it is also planning to design new courses and programs for the future generations.
The team fondly known as the PROs PR team, is solely in charge of the PR exhibition booth in the upcoming SSH 10th Anniversary Celebration, and will be responsible for setting up this beautiful and meaningful day on the 15 December 2009, 10am-11am at Canteen 2 foyer’s main stage to wed these two charming personalities, Mr. SSH and Ms. EMSD. Come join the Largest, Most Grand and for most of you, the first time ever Wedding Ceremony in TARCampus! Be part of us (because you do want to catch the bouquet when the bride tosses it in the air! –a sign of good luck or grand prize to be won? Okay, both!) and witness Mr. SSH and Ms. EMSD live happily ever after. Hey, looks like we actually can have the best of both worlds!
Of flowers purple and white, do not miss this special invite! :)
